Eligibility Criteria of Jharkhand B.ed Exam 2025 | |
* Candidates must have a minimum of 50% (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD) marks in their Bachelor’s Degree. *A minimum of 50% (45% for SC, ST, and OBC candidates) in their Master’s degree in science, social science, humanities, or commerce is required. *A Bachelor of Engineering or Technology degree with a minimum of 55% (or 50% in the case of restricted categories) in science and math is required of candidates. *Applicants with any other comparable credentials are also welcome. *The candidate will only be allowed to select one topic (from a group of subjects) that they must have studied for at least 200 marks in their qualifying degree, such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree, and in which they received at least 50%. The course will now be known as the teaching subject for the B.Ed., M.Ed., B.P.Ed., and M.P.Ed. programs. *There are no restrictions on applying to B.Ed. courses during the current year. *Applicants may also register for the Jharkhand B.Ed. Entrance Exam-2025 if they are taking the Graduation Examination (Sem-VI) in 2025. |

(A) The entrance exam must only be administered offline or using an OMR-based format. (B) The entrance exam will be a multiple-choice question with a score of 100. (C) One mark is given for each right response, and 0.25 points are subtracted for each incorrect response. (D) The syllabus and examination plan Note: (i) The 30 questions in Language Proficiency (15 in Hindi and 15 in English) will cover specific topics such as comprehension, sentence rearranging, choosing appropriate words for the blanks, identifying errors in sentences, determining the equivalent meaning of the given phrases, choosing appropriate words for incomplete sentences, sequencing, grammar (including synonyms, idioms, prepositions, tenses, and articles), and more. (ii) Teaching aptitude (40 questions) will cover specific topics such as: interest in teaching; leadership traits & group management; emotional & social adjustment; intrapersonal & interpersonal skills; general awareness of current issues regarding school education; and attitude toward education, children, and the teaching profession. (iii) Reasoning ability (30 questions) that highlight particular areas such as logical problems, syllogism, numerical ability, establishing relationships, verbal reasoning, missing numbers, number series, letter series, theme finding, jumbling, analogy, the odd one out, and putting the statements in a sequential form, statement, and conclusion. |

How to Apply for the 2025 Jharkhand B.Ed. Exam | |
1. The candidate must complete the necessary online forms, which include their name, gender, date of birth, category, educational background, mobile number, email address, communication address, declaration, and whether they are a person with a disability. After submitting their details, the candidate will be asked to review their information and make any necessary edits before submitting their final data. 2. It is necessary to post LTi, photos, and signatures. The photo and signature image file should be in JPG or JPEG format. Different solutions would be available for uploading the same. Click on the “Upload Photograph /LTI/ Signature” option. 3. It is necessary to utilize a recent stamp-size color photo, ideally with a white backdrop. The photo’s file should be between 20 and 50 kb in size. The picture can’t be more than six months old. 4. As relevant, candidates must additionally provide other documents as separate PDF files, such as category certificates, qualification certificates, EWS/PH certificates, etc. The document’s size cannot be more than 500 KB. 5. The applicant must use a blue or black ink pen to sign on white paper. The candidate’s candidature will be rejected if their signature does not match the scanned signature on the admission card or attendance sheet. The file should be between 10 and 20 kb in size. 6. The candidate must sign on white paper using a pen with either blue or black ink. If the candidate’s signature does not match the scanned signature on the attendance sheet or admittance card, their candidature will be denied. The ideal file size is between 10 and 20 kb. 7. Candidates must preview the submitted photographs after uploading. Here, the applicant is encouraged to make sure that the specimen signature is visible in the proper place and that the submitted photo is easily recognizable in the relevant row. The applicant can post the same photographs again by following the same steps if the uploaded images are, for whatever reason, subpar. These spaces should never be switched. The candidate may continue if they are happy with the photos they have uploaded. 8. Application Submission: Before clicking the declaration, the candidate can check all of the information they have filled out.A candidate can choose “declaration” and click the final SUBMIT button on the page if all of the information they have filled out is accurate; if not, they can edit their information. 9. Following application submission, the system will generate an application/registration number, which will be sent to the applicant along with their password. The mobile number provided in the application will receive an email and SMS. For future reference, the applicant must keep this number and password. It is not acceptable to submit more than one application using the same email address or mobile number. 10. Application Fee: After completing the PROVISIONAL Registration, the candidate will be sent to a payment gateway connection via a link on the website. The candidate would next finish the payment by following the instructions on the page. The candidate may pay with a credit card (Visa or Master), debit card (Visa or Master), or internet banking. The candidate should print the payment slip or keep it for future use with his information after making the payment. 11. The applicant is responsible for paying all bank fees and payment gateway fees. The Board will not be held accountable if the candidate puts the fee into the incorrect account. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted. 12. Under no circumstances will fees that have already been paid be reimbursed. Therefore, before applying and paying the application fee, candidates are asked to confirm their eligibility. 13. The candidate should be aware that if the bank displays a payment status of “Pending,” “Failure,” “Rejected,” or any other technical issue, it is their responsibility to make sure that the payment is successfully sent to the board before the deadline. The candidate will be summarily rejected if the bank reverses the transaction or cancels it and the board does not receive the payment by the deadline. 14. Candidates should also be aware that their candidature will be summarily canceled if the payment information they enter into the online system does not match the transaction information provided by the bank. 15. Payment for the application fee will not be accepted in the form of checks, money orders, postal orders, demand drafts, etc. 16. The applicant must include a declaration stating that, to the best of his or her knowledge, the inputs provided are true, complete, and accurate, and that, if necessary or requested, the original documents and testimonies would be used to support them. His or her candidature will be summarily rejected or terminated if any false or erroneous information is discovered or discovered at any point.
