With the founding of Jamshedpur Women’s College in 1953, Hindi became a mandatory national language course for all female students. In the college’s early days, Hindi was the national language, but in 1960, after receiving recognition from Ranchi University, Hindi prestige classes were established, and the number of female students increased. In 1983, the Bihar government added Hindi as a postgraduate subject, recognizing the demand. For the first time, authorization to begin postgraduate studies at the college was given. For the past 69 years, the Department of Hindi has been doing research and teaching with a variety of activities. After renovating Jamshedpur Women’s College, it is now known as Jamshedpur Women’s University. | To sensitize female pupils to the world via literature. Jamshedpur Women’s University’s Department of Music provides Undergraduate (B.A. Hons.) and Postgraduate (M.A.) degrees in Hindustani Vocal Music. Through its planned and unique courses, the Department gives training in singing styles such as Khayal, Thumri, Darda, Ghazals, Sugam Sangeet, and Folk, allowing students to demonstrate their flexibility. Only Bachelor Courses were created in 1976, and Master Courses were introduced in 2009, Department of MBA was begun in 2008, and BBA was started in 2010, while Ph.D. Program will be offered in 2020. Beginning in 2022, the Bachelor of Commerce (B.com) Program will be governed by the New Education Policy (NEP) Regulation. The department of Political Science was founded in 1960 as one of the first departments of the then Jamshedpur Women’s College, as part of the faculty of Social Sciences. The courses provided are among the most popular in the region. The Department takes pleasure in providing its students with the most up-to-date syllabus in the subject as specified by the UGC. With this goal in mind, the Department has been providing six semesters of Under-graduate BA (Hons.) in Political Science and four semesters of Post-graduate MA Courses in Political Science under the parameters of the choice-based credit system (CBCS) since 2016 and 2017, respectively. Since 2020, the department has prioritized the implementation of a learning outcome-based curricular framework (LOCF) at both the undergraduate and post-graduate levels. |

Botany nowadays is a synthesis of classical components with new parts of biochemistry, molecular biology, and biotechnology. Plant science (Botany) has gained enormously in information and applications over the years as a result of massive inputs from research in all of its components. With the global realization of the need of conservation, field plant biologists have made substantial contributions to measuring plant diversity. Taxonomists have investigated novel dimensions for plant categorization. By employing newer instruments and approaches for botanical study, new insights into functional and structural aspects of plant growth have been achieved.
